Bible Verses That SAVED Me.

Bible verses that played a part in saving me. I share this with you because Gods word is true. God is the word (John 1:1). In a sinful, dark world, getting into the WORD and accepting Jesus is our only hope. ❤️ as we’re called to be in the world, but not OF it. ❤️

” Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don’t understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God. “

2 Corinthians 4:4 NLV

Ooo baby we have to put this one first. You see before this verse found me I was deep into the “new age”. A tarot reader, for a living, after just getting my own apartment. I was only 20, and got dropped from high school a few months before graduation. I had no intention of ever quitting. Nothing else felt possible for me. Originally I went into it thinking I was a divine feminine, twin-flame, answering my “calling”.

However, I’d be scrolling and see posts, or discussions others had about God. I started to notice the difference in the big G and the little g! Those who believed, or had something nice to say about God, wrote it how it should be, “God.” Capital G! Those who mocked, or were atheists wrote “god”. Lowercase g! You see I always believed in God. I just believed in my own version of him. I saw the Bible as something man made for government control. All without reading it. Everything, when you’re in these practices, is “how you feel”. I even looked back on my old posts and I’d type “I love god and the universe so much!!!” ….. little g. See I had those influences, and other spirits on me. Not the Holy Spirit, the only living God, our Lord Jesus Christ. 🙏

Long story short, God destroyed that illusion when 2 Corinthians 4:4 NLT version found me. I mean boy!! Even today as I gotten to know the Lord and am born again; The difference in God and “god(s)” is all throughout his holy word.

PRAISE THE LORD FOR DESTROYING THAT STRONGHOLD. THAT BLINDED MIND OF MINE 🙏🙏🙏😌🕊️ you don’t know light until you come to Christ. 🔆

“ And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. ”

2 Corinthians 11:14 ESV

Okay, whew. 😮‍💨 as I said, I was deep in the “new age”. A common phrase everyone said was “love and light!”. Even when I was still a reader it felt super cheesy and disingenuous to me. I couldn’t put a finger on why. Looking back, I see God definitely made it a point to keep bringing people in-front of me who would say that because he was about to hit me with this verse. 😂 I mean wow!! God has a way of lovingly proving how wrong you are so you can come to him. ❤️

“ Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death. ”

2 Corinthians 7:10 NIV

At this point I already crashed out, quit, told all of my following these things are demonic and had no idea what I was going to do next to keep up with bills. As I got bashed online. This verse found me, and I was like wow. Every word of God is so true. Making its way to me exactly when I need in the right time. Because it looked like a dumpster fire of a situation I was in, I had no regret. Just Godly sorrow. 💔❤️ Feeling his presence, and his leading over my life was enough. I didn’t need to know the next step. I just needed to know the one who knew it. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ AMEN!

That’s all I can think of for now. But I will say, these verses I shared is from the first time I repented and turned to the Lord. I ended up pregnant shortly after and running back to Tarot. Cause like I said, I didn’t have an education. I thought God was saying it’s alright. I actually did a program to finish my diploma for high-school during my pregnancy. Praise God🙌! Now as I type this, and read that verse, 2 Corinthians 7:10 again. Wow, because I ran back to worldly regret and it almost did lead to death. (That stories for another time.) See his word is active and alive. Even speaking to me now (and hopefully you) in a new way.
